CIV:LAB aims to strengthen the civic and social infrastructure in and with our communities to tackle civilization's greatest problems. Through our innovative climate grantmaking network we are channeling global funds and resources directly to community climate initiatives. By working with local governments and climate leaders, we are building 'Community Climate Funds' with the goals of expanding the clean energy workforce, educating future climate leaders, accelerating industrial decarbonization, and providing aid to the organizations that are taking action against the threats of climate change in their own communities. CIV:LAB is a 501(c)(3) based in New York City.
